I did not set before my eyes any unjust thing: I hated the workers of iniquities.


Lord, bow down thy heavens and descend: touch the mountains and they shall smoke.


The voice of the Lord prepareth the stags: and he will discover the thick woods: and in his temple all shall speak his glory.


Bring ye to the Lord, O ye kindreds of the Gentiles, bring ye to the Lord glory and honour:


For how shall we be able to know, I and thy people, that we have found grace in thy sight, unless thou walk with us: that we may be glorified by all people that dwell upon the earth?


How beautiful art thou, my love, how beautiful art thou! thy eyes are doves' eyes, besides what is hid within. Thy hair is as flocks of goats, which Come up from mount Galaad.


And it shall come to pass that in that day a noise shall be made with a great trumpet: and they that were lost shall come from the land of the Assyrians, and they that were outcasts in the land of Egypt. And they shall adore the Lord in the holy mount in Jerusalem.


It shall bud forth and blossom, and shall rejoice with joy and praise. The glory of Libanus is given to it: the beauty of Carmel, and Saron. They shall see the glory of the Lord and the beauty of our God.


By the hand of thy servants thou hast reproached the Lord, and hast said: With the multitude of my chariots I have gone up to the height of the mountains, to the top of Libanus: and I will out down its tall cedars and its choice fir-trees, and will enter to the top of its height, to the forest of its Carmel.


He shall feed his flock like a shepherd. He shall gather together the lambs with his arm and shall take them up in his bosom, and he himself shall carry them that are with young.


They shall not hunger, nor thirst: neither shall the heat nor the sun strike them. For he that is merciful to them shall be their shepherd, and at the fountains of waters he shall give them drink.


And the plains shall be turned to folds of flocks, and the valley of Achor into a place for the herds to lie down in, for my people that have sought me.


Arise and go up to a nation that is at ease and that dwelleth securely, saith the Lord: they have neither gates nor bars: they dwell alone.


Zain. Jerusalem hath remembered the days of her affliction and prevarication of all her desirable things which she had from the days of old, when her people fell in the enemy's hand and there was no helper: the enemies have seen her and have mocked at her sabbaths.


Convert us, O Lord, to thee, and we shall be converted: renew our days, as from the beginning.


And I will make you abound with men and with beasts: and they shall be multiplied, and increased: and I will settle you as from the beginning, and will give you greater gifts, than you had from the beginning: and you shall know that I am the Lord.


Of all the tithes of oxen, and sheep, and goats, that pass under the shepherd's rod, every tenth that cometh shall be sanctified to the Lord.


In that day I will raise up the tabernacle of David, that is fallen: and I will close up the breaches of the walls thereof, and repair what was fallen: and I will rebuild it as in the days of old.


And they that are toward the south, shall inherit the mount of Esau, and they that are in the plains, the Philistines: and they shall possess the country of Ephraim, and the country of Samaria: and Benjamin shall possess Galaad.


And he shall stand, and feed in the strength of the Lord, in the height of the name of the Lord his God: and they shall be converted, for now shall he be magnified even to the ends of the earth.


The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies, nor shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed, and shall lie down, and there shall be none to make them afraid.


And I will bring them back out of the land of Egypt, and will gather them from among the Assyrians: and will bring them to the land of Galaad, and Libanus, and place shall not be found for them.


And I will feed the hock of slaughter for this, O ye poor of the dock. And I took unto me two rods, one I called Beauty, and the other I called a Cord, and I fed the flock.


And the sacrifice of Juda and of Jerusalem shall please the Lord, as in the days of old, and in the ancient years.


I shall see him from the tops of the rocks, and shall consider him from the hills. This people shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations.


And the sons of Ruben and Gad had many flocks of cattle: and their substance in beasts was infinite. And when they saw the lands of Jazer and Galaad fit for feeding cattle:


The land, which the Lord hath conquered in the sight of the children of Israel, is a very fertile soil for the feeding of beasts: and we thy servants have very much cattle,


And thou Bethlehem the land of Juda art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come forth the captain that shall rule my people Israel.


They are not of the world, as I also am not of the world.


Israel shall dwell in safety, and alone. The eye of Jacob in a land of corn and wine, and the heavens shall be misty with dew.
