And the children of Israel that were returned from captivity, and all that had separated themselves from the filthiness of the nations of the earth to them, to seek the Lord the God of Israel, did eat.


And you shall know that I am the Lord: because you have not walked in my commandments and have not done my judgments, but you have done according to the judgments of the nations that are round about you.


James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, Philip and Bartholomew, Thomas and Matthew the publican, and James the son of Alpheus, and Thaddeus,


The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say: Behold a man that is a glutton and a wine drinker, a friend of publicans and sinners. And wisdom is justified by her children.


For if you love them that love you, what reward shall you have? do not even the publicans this?


And when you are praying, speak not much, as the heathens. For they think that in their much speaking they may be heard.


NOW the publicans and sinners drew near unto him to hear him.


The Pharisee standing, prayed thus with himself: O God, I give thee thanks that I am not as the rest of men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, as also is this publican.


I wrote to you in an epistle, not to keep company with fornicators.


DARE any of you, having a matter against another, go to be judged before the unjust, and not before the saints?


And we charge you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw yourselves from every brother walking disorderly, and not according to the tradition which they have received of us.


Conflicts of men corrupted in mind, and who are destitute of the truth, supposing gain to be godliness.


Who came to the children of Ruben, and of Gad, and the half tribe of Manasses, into the land of Galaad, and said to them:
