And Elias coming to all the people said: How long do you halt between two sides? If the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people did not answer him a word.


And Micheas said: If thou return in peace, the Lord hath not spoken by me. And he said: Hear, all ye people.


To day if you shall hear his voice, harden not your hearts:


O little ones, understand subtilty, and ye unwise, take notice.


And he said: Go, and thou shalt say to this people: Hearing, hear, and understand not: and see the vision and know it not.


Which Jeremias the prophet spoke to all the people of Juda and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying:


And having called together the multitudes unto him, he said to them: Hear ye and understand.


Making void the word of God by your own tradition, which you have given forth. And many other such like things you do.


There is nothing from without a man that entering into him, can defile him. But the things which come from a man, those are they that defile a man.


AND when great multitudes stood about him, so that they trod one upon another, he began to say to his disciples: Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.


And Philip running thither, heard him reading the prophet Isaias. And he said: Thinkest thou that thou understandest what thou readest?
