Because the Lord giveth wisdom: and out of his mouth cometh prudence and knowledge.

In that day a horn shall bud forth to the house of Israel, and I will give thee an open mouth in the midst of them: and they shall know that I am the Lord.


For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what you must say.


And you shall be betrayed by your parents and brethren, and kinsmen and friends; and some of you they will put to death.


Then he opened their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures.


And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they began to speak with divers tongues, according as the Holy Ghost gave them to speak.


And as he treated of justice, and chastity, and of the judgment to come, Felix being terrified, answered: For this time, go thy way: but when I have a convenient time, I will send for thee.


And Agrippa said to Paul: In a little thou persuadest me to become a Christian.


And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit that spoke.


And for me, that speech may be given me, that I may open my mouth with confidence, to make known the mystery of the gospel.


But if any of you want wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all men abundantly, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
