Beware of the scribes, who desire to walk in long robes, and love salutations in the marketplace, and the first chairs in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts:


Let nothing be done through contention, neither by vain glory: but in humility, let each esteem others better than themselves:


I had written perhaps to the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the pre-eminence among them, doth not receive us.


And Samson said to them: I will propose to you a riddle, which if you declare unto me within the seven days of the feast, I will give you thirty shirts, and as many coats.
