Lamentations 1:2
30 交叉引用

My brethren have passed by me, as the torrent that passeth swiftly in the valleys.

So I also have had empty months, and have numbered to myself wearisome nights.

Blessed is the man that hath filled the desire with them; he shall not be confounded when he shall speak to his enemies in the gate.

Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye just, and glory, all ye right of heart.

For there is no one in death, that is mindful of thee: and who shall confess to thee in hell?

The brethren of the poor man hate him: moreover also his friends have departed far from him. He that followeth after words only, shall have nothing.

But if you will not hear this, my soul shall weep in secret for your pride: weeping it shall weep, and my eyes shall run down the tears, because the flock of the Lord is carried away captive.

Keep thy foot from being bare and thy throat from thirst. But thou saidst: I have lost all hope, I will not do it: for I have loved strangers and I will walk after them.

It is commonly said: If a man put away his wife, and she go from him and marry another man, shall he return to her any more? Shall not that woman be polluted and defiled? But thou hast prostituted thyself to many lovers. Nevertheless return to me, saith the Lord, and I will receive thee.

All thy lovers have forgotten thee and will not seek after thee: for I have wounded thee with the wound of an enemy, with a cruel chastisement: by reason of the multitude of thy iniquities, thy sins are hardened.

But when thou art spoiled, what wilt though do? Though thou clothest with scarlet, though thou deckest thee with ornaments of gold, and paintest thy eyes with stibic stone, thou shalt dress thyself out in vain: thy lovers have despised thee, they will seek thy life.

Who will give water to my head and a fountain of tears to my eyes, and I will weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people?

Coph. I called for my friends, but they deceived me: my priests and my ancients pined away in the city, while they sought their food to relieve their souls.

Sin. They have heard that I sigh, and there is none to comfort me: all my enemies have heard of my evil, they have rejoiced that thou hast done it. Thou hast brought a day of consolation, and they shall be like unto me.

Teth. Her filthiness is on her feet and she hath not remembered her end: she is wonderfully cast down, not having a comforter. Behold, O Lord, my affliction, because the enemy is lifted up.

Caph. My eyes have failed with weeping, my bowels are troubled: my liver is poured out upon the earth, for the destruction of the daughter of my people, when the children, and the sucklings, fainted away in the streets of the city.

Behold, I will gather together all thy lovers with whom thou hast taken pleasure and all whom thou hast loved with all whom thou hast hated: and I will gather them together against thee on every side and will discover thy shame in their sight: and they shall see all thy nakedness.

And she shall follow after her lovers, and shall not overtake them: and she shall seek them, and shall not find, and she shall say: I will go, and return to my first husband, because it was better with me then, than now.

Believe not a friend, and trust not in a prince: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that sleepeth in thy bosom.

These have one design: and their strength and power they shall deliver to the beast.

And the ten horns which thou sawest in the beast: these shall hate the harlot, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and shall burn her with fire.
