All these came together into the woodland vale, which now is the salt sea.


And he destroyed these cities, and all the country about: all the inhabitants of the cities, and all things that spring from the earth.


Benadad hearkening to king Asa sent the captains of his army against the cities of Israel: and they smote Ahion, and Dan, and Abeldomum Maacha, and all Cenneroth, that is all the land of Nephtali.


Therefore, behold, I will open the shoulder of Moab from the cities, from his cities, I say, and his borders, the noble cities of the land of Bethiesimoth and Beelmeon and Cariathaim,


From Bamoth, is a valley in the country of Moab, to the top of Phasga, which looked towards the desert.


And from Sephama the bounds shall go down to Rebla over against the fountain of Daphnis. From thence they shall come eastward to the sea of Cenereth:


AND it came to pass, that when the multitudes pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Genesareth,


AFTER these things Jesus went over the sea of Galilee, which is that of Tiberias.


And the plain of the wilderness; and the Jordan; and the borders of Cenereth unto the sea of the desert, which is the most salt sea, to the foot of mount Phasga eastward.


All the plain beyond the Jordan at the east side, unto the see of the wilderness, and unto the foot of mount Phasga.


And to the kings of the north, that dwelt in the mountains and in the plains over against the south side of Ceneroth, and in the levels and the countries of Dor by the sea-side:


Bethphogor and Asedoth, Phasga and Bethiesimoth:


Its beginning was from the top of the most salt sea, and from the bay thereof, that looketh to the south.


But on the east side the beginning shall be the most salt sea even to the end of the Jordan: and towards the north, from the bay of the sea unto the same river Jordan.


The waters that came down from above stood in one place, and swelling up like a mountain, were seen afar off from the city that is called Adom, to the place of Sarthan: but those that were beneath ran down into the sea of the wilderness (which now is called the Dead Sea) until they wholly failed.
