And Moses said to Aaron: This is what the Lord hath spoken. I will be sanctified in them that approach to me: and I will be glorified in the sight of all the people. And when Aaron heard this, he held his peace.


The Lord will cut off the man that hath done this, both the master, and the scholar, out of the tabernacles of Jacob, and him that offereth an offering to the Lord of hosts.


The disciple is not above the master, nor the servant above his lord.


But woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites; because you shut the kingdom of heaven against men, for you yourselves do not enter in; and those that are going in, you suffer not to enter.


Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites: because you devour the houses of widows, praying long prayers. For this you shall receive the greater judgment.


And the Pharisees seeing it, said to his disciples: Why doth your master eat with publicans and sinners?


And he called him, and said to him: How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship: for now thou canst be steward no longer.


Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you shall be forgiven.


Jesus answered, and said to him: Art thou a master in Israel, and knowest not these things?


NOW there were in the church which was at Antioch, prophets and doctors, among whom was Barnabas, and Simon who was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manahen, who was the foster brother of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.


And God indeed hath set some in the church; first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly doctors; after that miracles; then the graces of healing, helps, governments, kinds of tongues, interpretations of speeches.


For we must all be manifested before the judgement seat of Christ, that every one may receive the proper things of the body, according as he hath done, whether it be good or evil.


And he gave some apostles, and some prophets, and other some evangelists, and other some pastors and doctors,


Desiring to be teachers of the law, understanding neither the things they say, nor whereof they affirm.


Whereunto I am appointed a preacher and an apostle, (I say the truth, I lie not,) a doctor of the Gentiles in faith and truth.


Wherein I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and teacher of the Gentiles.


Obey your prelates, and be subject to them. For they watch as being to render an account of your souls; that they may do this with joy, and not with grief. For this is not expedient for you.


Do not err, therefore, my dearest brethren.


You know, my dearest brethren. And let every man be swift to hear, but slow to speak, and slow to anger.


Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.


Neither as lording it over the clergy, but being made a pattern of the flock from the heart.
