And whilst I pondered these things secretly with myself, Rebecca appeared, coming with a pitcher, which she carried on her shoulder: and she went down to the well and drew water. And I said to her: Give me a little to drink.


He arose, and went to Sarephta. And when he was come to the gate of the city, he saw the widow woman gathering sticks: and he called her, and said to her: Give me a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.


Meeting the thirsty bring him water, you that inhabit the land of the south: meet with bread him that fleeth.


And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every elevated hill, rivers of running waters in the day of the slaughter of many, when the tower shall fall.

There cometh a woman of Samaria, to draw water. Jesus saith to her: Give me to drink.


Then that Samaritan woman saith to him: How dost thou, being a Jew, ask of me to drink, who am a Samaritan woman? For the Jews do not communicate with the Samaritans.
