And they used Abram well for her sake. And he had sheep and oxen, and he-asses, and men-servants and maid-servants, and she-asses, and camels.


Neither was the land able to bear them, that they might dwell together: for their substance was great, and they could not dwell together.


Now Abraham was old, and advanced in age: and the Lord had blessed him in all things.


And the Lord hath blessed my master wonderfully, and he is become great: and he hath given him sheep and oxen, silver and gold, men-servants and women-servants, camels and asses.


And he had possessions of sheep and of herds, and a very great family. Wherefore the Palestines, envying him,


And the man was enriched exceedingly: and he had many flocks, maid-servants and men-servants, camels and asses.


Hast not thou made a fence for him, and his house, and all his substance round about: blessed the works of his hands, and his possession hath increased on the earth?


And his possession was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she-asses, and a family exceeding great: and this man was great among all the people of the East.


The blessing of the Lord maketh men rich: neither shall affliction be joined to them.


Seek ye therefore first the kingdom of God, and his justice, and all these things shall be added unto you.


But remember the Lord thy God, that he hath given thee strength, that he might fulfil his covenant, concerning which he swore to thy fathers, as this present day sheweth.


For bodily exercise is profitable to little: but godliness is profitable to all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.


The Lord maketh poor and maketh rich: he humbleth and he exalteth.
