In gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in iron, whereof there is no number. Arise then, and be doing: and the Lord will be with thee.


Give therefore your hearts and your souls to seek the Lord your God. And arise, and build a sanctuary to the Lord God, that the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and the vessels consecrated to the Lord, may be brought into the house, which is built to the name of the Lord.


Now therefore seeing the Lord hath chosen thee to build the house of the sanctuary, take courage, and do it.


And David said to Solomon his son: Act like a man, and take courage, and do. Fear not, and be not dismayed: for the Lord my God will be with thee, and will not leave thee, nor forsake thee, till thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord.


Behold, the courses of the priests and the Levites, for every ministry of the house of the Lord, stand by thee, and are ready: and both the princes, and the people know how to execute all thy commandments.


So Esdras arose, and made the chiefs of the priests and of the Levites, and all Israel, to swear that they would do according to this word. And they swore.


Whatsoever thy hand is able to do, do it earnestly: for neither work, nor reason, nor wisdom, nor knowledge shall be in hell, whither thou art hastening.


Even as a man who going into a far country, left his house; and gave authority to his servants over every work, and commanded the porter to watch.


And let us consider one another, to provoke unto charity and to good works:
