Deuteronomy 22:14

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.


Thou shalt not receive the voice of a lie: neither shalt thou join thy hand to bear false witness for a wicked person.


Death and life are in the power of the tongue: they that love it, shall eat the fruits thereof.


The words of the double tongued are as if they were harmless: and they reach even to the inner parts of the bowels. Fear casteth down the slothful: and the souls of the effeminate shall be hungry.


If a man marry a wife, and afterwards hate her,


Her father and mother shall take her, and shall bring with them the tokens of her virginity to the ancients of the city that are in the gate:


Condemning him besides in a hundred sicles of silver, which he shall give to the damsel's father, because he hath defamed by a very ill name a virgin of Israel. And he shall have her to wife, and may not put her away all the days of his life.


I will therefore that the younger should marry, bear children, be mistresses of families, give no occasion to the adversary to speak evil.
