And in these days there came prophets from Jerusalem to Antioch:


And the disciples, every man according to his ability, purposed to send relief to the brethren who dwelt in Judea:


And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and to Antioch:


And when they had ordained to them priests in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, in whom they believed.


And passing through Pisidia, they came into Pamphylia.


And they abode no small time with the disciples.


And whereas he was desirous to go to Achaia, the brethren exhorting, wrote to the disciples to receive him. Who, when he was come, helped them much who had believed.


But when some were hardened, and believed not, speaking evil of the way of the Lord, before the multitude, departing from them, he separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus.


AND after the tumult was ceased, Paul calling to him the disciples, and exhorting them, took his leave, and set forward to go into Macedonia.


And of your own selves shall arise men speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.


And finding disciples, we tarried there seven days: who said to Paul through the Spirit, that he should not go up to Jerusalem.


And Agrippa said to Paul: In a little thou persuadest me to become a Christian.


AND in those days, the number of the disciples increasing, there arose a murmuring of the Greeks against the Hebrews, for that their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.


And the saying was liked by all the multitude. And they chose Stephen, a man full of faith, and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas, a proselyte of Antioch.


And when he had taken meat, he was strengthened. And he was with the disciples that were at Damascus, for some days.


And forasmuch as Lydda was nigh to Joppe, the disciples hearing that Peter was there, sent unto him two men, desiring him that he would not be slack to come unto them.


For first of all I hear that when you come together in the church, there are schisms among you; and in part I believe it.


For as the body is one, and hath many members; and all the members of the body, whereas they are many, yet are one body, so also is Christ.


If therefore the whole church come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in unlearned persons or infidels, will they not say that you are mad?


For this cause have I sent to you Timothy, who is my dearest son and faithful in the Lord; who will put you in mind of my ways, which are in Christ Jesus; as I teach every where in every church.


Of whom all paternity in heaven and earth is named,


Do not they blaspheme the good name that is invoked upon you?


If you be reproached for the name of Christ, you shall be blessed: for that which is of the honour, glory, and power of God, and that which is his Spirit, resteth upon you.


But if as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in that name.


And as for you, let the unction, which you have received from him, abide in you. And you have no need that any man teach you; but as his unction teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie. And as it hath taught you, abide in him.


I counsel thee to buy of me gold fire tried, that thou mayest be made rich; and mayest be clothed in white garments, and that the shame of thy nakedness may not appear; and anoint thy eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
