Two and twenty years old was Amon when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem. The name of his mother was Messalemeth the daughter of Harus of Jeteba.


And they buried him in his sepulchre in the garden of Oza: and his son Josias reigned in his stead.


And Manasses begot Amon the father of Josias.


He was two and thirty years old when he began his reign, and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem. And he walked not rightly. And they buried him in the city of David: but not in the sepulchres of the kings.


And they buried him in the city of David among the kings, because he had done good to Israel, and to his house.


And departing they left him in great diseases. And his servants rose up him, for revenge of the blood of the son of Joiada the priest. And they slew him in his bed: and he died. And they buried him in the city of David, but not in the sepulchres of the kings.


And Achaz slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of Jerusalem. For they received him not into the sepulchres of the kings of Israel. And Ezechias his son reigned in his stead.


And Ezechias slept with his fathers, and they buried him above the sepulchres of the sons of David: and all Juda, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem celebrated his funeral. And Manasses his son reigned in his stead.
