2 Kings 19:23
15 交叉引用

And the king of the Assyrians sent Tharthan and Rabsaris, and Rabsaces from Lachis to king Ezechias with a strong army to Jerusalem. And they went up and came to Jerusalem: and they stood by the conduit of the upper pool, which is in the way of the fuller's field.

Now therefore come over to my master the king of the Assyrians: and I will give you two thousand horses, and see whether you be able to have riders for them.

It may be the Lord thy God will hear all the words of Rabsaces, whom the king of the Assyrians his master hath sent to reproach the living God, and to reprove with words, which the Lord thy God hath heard: and do thou offer prayer for the remnants that are found.

And he built towers in the wilderness, and dug many cisterns, for he had much cattle both in the plains, and in the waste of the desert. He had also vineyards and dressers of vines in the mountains, and in Carmel: for he was a man that loved husbandry.

He wrote also letters full of blasphemy against the Lord the God of Israel. And he spoke against him: As the gods of other nations could not deliver their people out of my hand, so neither can the God of Ezechias deliver his people out of this hand.

For thou shalt give him to be a blessing for ever and ever: thou shalt make him joyful in gladness with thy countenance.

For the king hopeth in the Lord: and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.

For he hath said: By the strength of my own hand I have done it, and by my own wisdom I have understood. And I have removed the bounds of the people, and have taken the spoils of the princes, and as a mighty man hath pulled down them that sat on high.

And my hand hath found the strength of the people as a nest: and as eggs are gathered, that are left, so have I gathered all the earth. And there was none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or made the least noise.

And the glory of his forest and of his beautiful hill shall be consumed from the soul even to the flesh: and he shall run away through fear.
