And the laver was a handbreadth thick: and the brim thereof was like the brim of a cup, or the leaf of a crisped lily. It contained two thousand bates.


And one sea, and twelve oxen under the sea.


And king Achaz took away the graven bases, and the laver that was upon them: and he took down the sea from the brazen oxen that held it up, and put it upon a pavement of stone.


And the two pillars and one sea and twelve oxen of brass that were under the bases, which king Solomon had made in the house of the Lord. There was no weight of the brass of all these vessels.


And as for the likeness of their faces: there was the face of a man, and the face of a lion on the right side of all the four, and the face of an ox, on the left side of all the four, and the face of an eagle over all the four.


Going therefore, teach ye all nations; baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.


And that penance and remission of sins should be preached in his name, unto all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.


For it is written in the law of Moses: Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen?
