Fear not, O worm of Jacob, you who are dead within Israel. I have helped you, says the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.


Who has worked and accomplished these things, calling to the generations from the beginning? "It is I, the Lord! I am the first and the last."


It is I, I myself, who will console you. Who are you that you would be afraid of a mortal man, and of a son of man, who will wither like the grass?


Then Peter responded by saying, "Lord, if it is you, order me come to you over the waters."


And Jesus drew near and touched them. And he said to them, "Rise up and do not be afraid."


Then Jesus said to them: "Do not be afraid. Go, announce it to my brothers, so that they may go to Galilee. There they shall see me."


Then the Angel responded by saying to the women: "Do not be afraid. For I know that you are seeking Jesus, who was crucified.


And behold, they brought to him a paralytic, lying on a bed. And Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, "Be strengthened in faith, son; your sins are forgiven you."


For they all saw him, and they were very disturbed. And immediately he spoke with them, and he said to them: "Be strengthened in faith. It is I. Do not be afraid."


But the Angel said to him: "Do not be afraid, Zechariah, for your prayer has been heard, and your wife Elizabeth shall bear a son to you. And you shall call his name John.


And the Angel said to her: "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found grace with God.


Do not be afraid, little flock; for it has pleased your Father to give you the kingdom.


And the Angel said to them: "Do not be afraid. For, behold, I proclaim to you a great joy, which will be for all the people.


Now the same was true of James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were associates of Simon. And Jesus said to Simon: "Do not be afraid. From now on, you will be catching men."


These things I have spoken to you, so that you may have peace in me. In the world, you will have difficulties. But have confidence: I have overcome the world."


But he said to them: "It is I. Do not be afraid."


Then, on the following night, the Lord stood near him and said: "Be constant. For just as you have testified about me in Jerusalem, so also it is necessary for you to testify at Rome."
