How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? How long wilt thou hide thy face from me?
The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
Unto thee will I cry, O LORD my rock; be not silent to me: Lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.
For thou art the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off? Why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
Because of the voice of the enemy, Because of the oppression of the wicked: For they cast iniquity upon me, And in wrath they hate me.
