And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents.


And he said, Is not he rightly named Jacob? for he hath supplanted me these two times: he took away my birthright; and, behold, now he hath taken away my blessing. And he said, Hast thou not reserved a blessing for me?


until thy brother's anger turn away from thee, and he forget that which thou hast done to him: then I will send, and fetch thee from thence: why should I be deprived also of you both in one day?


And he said, Cursed be Canaan; A servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.


With him is strength and wisdom: The deceived and the deceiver are his.


Cursed be he that doeth the work of the LORD deceitfully, and cursed be he that keepeth back his sword from blood.


But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the Lord a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen.


by honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true;


Cursed be he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way. And all the people shall say, Amen.


Abstain from all appearance of evil.
