Joshua 24:7
14 交叉引用

And when Pharao drew near, the children of Israel, lifting up their eyes, saw the Egyptians behind them: and they feared exceedingly, and cried to the Lord.

Stood behind, between the Egyptians' camp and the camp of Israel. And it was a dark cloud, and enlightening the night, so that they could not come at one another all the night.

And they saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea-shore, and the mighty hand that the Lord had used against them. And the people feared the Lord, and they believed the Lord, and Moses his servant.

So you abode in Cadesbarne a long time.

And the time that we journeyed from Cadesbarne till we passed over the torrent Zared was thirty-eight years: until all the generation of the men that were fit for war was consumed out of the camp, as the Lord had sworn.

And Moses called all Israel, and said to them: You have seen all the things that the Lord did before you in the land of Egypt to Pharao, and to all his servants, and to his whole land.

If God ever did so as to go, and take to himself a nation out of the midst of nations by temptations, signs, and wonders, by fight, and a strong hand, and stretched-out arm, and horrible visions according to all the things that the Lord your God did for you in Egypt, before thy eyes.

And with whom was he offended forty years? Was it not with them that sinned, whose carcasses were overthrown in the desert?

During the forty years of the journey in the wide wilderness, were uncircumcised: till all they were consumed that had not heard the voice of the Lord, and to whom he had sworn before, that he would not shew them the land flowing with milk and honey.
