A Psalm of David himself. I will sing mercy and judgment to you, O Lord. I will sing psalms.
Let Israel rejoice in him who made them, and let the sons of Zion exult in their king.
I have become a disgrace among all my enemies, and even more so to my neighbors, and a dread to my acquaintances. Those who catch sight of me, flee away from me.
In you, Lord, I have hoped; let me never be confounded. In your justice, deliver me.
God is in its midst; it will not be shaken. God will assist it in the early morning.
I have endured hardships, while crying out. My jaws have become hoarse; my eyes have failed. Meanwhile, I hope in my God.
You have caused judgment to be heard from heaven. The earth trembled and was quieted,
Clouds and mist are all around him. Justice and judgment are corrections from his throne.
For the Lord is our judge. The Lord is our lawgiver. The Lord is our king. He himself will save us.
O Lord, save me! And we will sing our psalms, all the days of our life, in the house of the Lord."
Cursed is the deceitful, who holds in his flock a male, and, when making a vow, offers in sacrifice that which is feeble to the Lord. For I am a great King, says the Lord of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the Gentiles.
Then the King shall say to those who will be on his right: 'Come, you blessed of my Father. Possess the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
