Unto the end. A Psalm of David. O Lord, you have examined me, and you have known me.
You shall not disparage the heavens, and you shall not speak evil of the leader of your people.
He will speak for you to the people, and he will be your mouth. But you will be with him in those things that pertain to God.
And the Lord said to Moses: "Behold, I have appointed you as the god of Pharaoh. And Aaron, your brother, will be your prophet.
If he called those to whom the word of God was given gods, and Scripture cannot be broken,
The crowd answered him: "We have heard, from the law, that the Christ remains forever. And so how can you say, 'The Son of man must be lifted up?' Who is this Son of man?"
But this is so that the word may be fulfilled which was written in their law: 'For they hated me without cause.'
It is written in the law: "I will speak to this people with other tongues and other lips, and even so, they will not heed me, says the Lord."
