the fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer,


and also Azariah, the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the high priest of the house of God;


Also, his rulers offered what they had vowed freely, as much for the people as for the priests and Levites. Moreover, Hilkiah, and Zechariah, and Jehiel, rulers of the house of the Lord, gave to the priests, in order to observe the Passover, two thousand six hundred small cattle, and three hundred oxen.


But you, Pashhur, and all the inhabitants of your house, will go into captivity. And you will go to Babylon. And there you shall die. And there you shall be buried, you and all your friends, to whom you have prophesied a lie."


'The Lord has made you priest in place of Jehoiada, the priest, so that you would be the ruler in the house of the Lord over every man who raves and prophesies, to send him to the stocks and to prison.


And so Jeremiah went into the house of the prison and into a dungeon. And Jeremiah sat there for many days.


But while they were speaking to the people, the priests and the magistrate of the temple and the Sadducees overwhelmed them,


Then, when the magistrate of the temple and the chief priests heard these words, they were uncertain about them, as to what should happen.
