But to the wicked God says: "What right have you to recite my statutes or take my covenant on your lips?


And the LORD said to Satan, "The LORD rebuke you, O Satan! The LORD who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is not this a brand[2] plucked from the fire?"


And Jesus rebuked him, and the demon came out of him, and the boy was healed instantly.[2]


And he said to them, "Why are you afraid, O you of little faith?" Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.


And the unclean spirit, convulsing him and crying out with a loud voice, came out of him.


And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, "Peace! Be still!" And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.


And after crying out and convulsing him terribly, it came out, and the boy was like a corpse, so that most of them said, "He is dead."


but when one stronger than he attacks him and overcomes him, he takes away his armor in which he trusted and divides his spoil.


And he said to them, "Doubtless you will quote to me this proverb, 'Physician, heal yourself.' What we have heard you did at Capernaum, do here in your hometown as well."


And he stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her, and immediately she rose and began to serve them.


And demons also came out of many, crying, "You are the Son of God!" But he rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew that he was the Christ.


And they went and woke him, saying, "Master, Master, we are perishing!" And he awoke and rebuked the wind and the raging waves, and they ceased, and there was a calm.


And behold, a spirit seizes him, and he suddenly cries out. It convulses him so that he foams at the mouth; and shatters him, and will hardly leave him.


While he was coming, the demon threw him to the ground and convulsed him. But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit and healed the boy, and gave him back to his father.


Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!"
