Luke 22:3
16 Marejeleo ya Msalaba

Even my ally, my friend, has turned against me. He was one I totally trusted with my life, sharing supper with him, and now he shows me nothing but betrayal and treachery. He has sold me as an enemy.

Simon, the former member of the Zealot party, and Judas the locksmith, who eventually betrayed Jesus.

He answered, “It is one who has shared meals with me as an intimate friend.

But Jesus said, “Go away, Satan! For the Scriptures say: Kneel before the Lord your God and worship only him.”

But I want you to know that the hands of the one who delivers me to be the sacrifice are with mine on the table this very moment.

(In fact, Judas had no heart for the poor. He only said this because he was a thief and in charge of the money case. He would steal money whenever he wanted from the funds given to support Jesus’ ministry.)

“I don’t refer to all of you when I tell you these things, for I know the ones I’ve chosen—to fulfill the Scripture that says, ‘The one who shared supper with me treacherously betrays me.’

Before their evening meal had begun, the accuser had already deeply embedded betrayal into the heart of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.

God revealed their secret to Peter, so he said to him, “Ananias, why did you let Satan fill your heart and make you think you could lie to the Holy Spirit? You only pretended to give it all, yet you hid back part of the proceeds from the sale of your property to keep for yourselves.
