And Solomon stood before the altar of the Lord in the sight of the assembly of Israel, and spread forth his hands towards heaven.


And Moses and Aaron went forth from Pharao: and Moses cried to the Lord for the promise, which he had made to Pharao concerning the frogs.


But Pharao called Moses and Aaron, and said to them: Pray ye to the Lord to take away the frogs from me and from my people; and I will let the people go to sacrifice to the Lord.


Moses said: As soon as I am gone out of the city, I will stretch forth my hands to the Lord; and the thunders shall cease, and the hail shall be no more: that thou mayst know that the earth is the Lord's.


But the wheat, and other winter corn were not hurt: because they were lateward.


And Pharao seeing that the rain and the hail, and the thunders were ceased, increased his sin.
