Exodus 9:32

And gave them into the hands of the Gabaonites. And they crucified them on a hill before the Lord: and these seven died together in the first days of the harvest, when the barley began to be reaped.


And the Lord said to Moses: Stretch forth thy hand upon the land of Egypt, unto the locust, that it come upon it, and devour every herb that is left after the hail.


And Moses stretch forth his hand towards heaven: and there came horrible darkness in all the land of Egypt for three days.


To cover the face of the earth that nothing thereof may appear, but that which the hail hath left may be eaten: for they shall feed upon all the trees that spring in the fields.


The flax therefore and the barley were hurt: because the barley was green, and the flax was now bolled.


And when Moses was gone from Pharao out of the city, he stretched forth his hands to the Lord: and the thunders and the hail ceased. Neither did there drop any more rain upon the earth.


Will he not, when he hath made plain the surface thereof, sow gith, and scatter cummin, and put wheat in order, and barley and millet and vetches in their bounds?


And take to thee wheat and barley and beans and lentils and millet and fitches, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread thereof according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side: three hundred and ninety days shalt thou eat thereof.
