And what nation is there upon earth, as thy people Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a name, and to do for them great and terrible things, upon the earth, before the face of thy people, whom thou redeemedst to thyself out of Egypt, from the nations and their gods?

And for this cause did the house of Jeroboam sin: and was cut off and destroyed from the face of the earth.

For I will at this time send all my plagues upon thy heart, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people: that thou mayst know there is none like me in all the earth.

And therefore have I raised thee, that I may shew my power in thee: and my name may be spoken of throughout all the earth.

Behold my hand shall be upon thy fields: and a very grievous murrain upon thy horses, and asses, and camels, and oxen, and sheep.

The Lord therefore did this thing the next day. And all the beasts of the Egyptians died: but of the beasts of the children of Israel there died not one.

But the wicked shall be destroyed from the earth: and they that do unjustly shall be taken away from it.
