YHWH, my heart isn’t arrogant, nor my eyes lofty; nor do I concern myself with great matters, or things too wonderful for me.


Why should I fear in the days of evil, when iniquity at my heels surrounds me?


For the sin of their mouth, and the words of their lips, let them be caught in their pride, for the curses and lies which they utter.


They will not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth will be full of the knowledge of YHWH, as the waters cover the sea.


For there will be a day of YHWH Almighty for all that is proud and arrogant, and for all that is lifted up, and they will be brought low.


Israel will be saved by YHWH with an everlasting salvation. Y’all will never be ashamed or humiliated, to ages everlasting.


So humanity is brought low, and each person is humbled, and the eyes of the arrogant ones are humbled;


“Don’t be afraid, for you will not be ashamed. Don’t be confounded, for you will not be disappointed. For you will forget the shame of your youth. You will remember the reproach of your widowhood no more.


I will bring these to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all peoples.”


Instead of shame y’all will have a double portion. Instead of dishonor, they will rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they will possess double. Everlasting joy will be to them.


“YHWH says, ‘In this way I will ruin the pride of Judah, and the great pride of Jerusalem.


Y’all must not trust in words of deceptive and say, ‘This is the temple of YHWH, the temple of YHWH, the temple of YHWH.’


For in my holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel,” says Lord YHWH, “there the whole house of Israel, all of them, will serve me in the land. There I will accept them, and there I will require y’all’s offerings and the first fruits of y’all’s offerings, with all your* holy things.


‘Speak to the house of Israel, “Lord YHWH says: ‘Look! I will profane my sanctuary, the pride of y’all’s power, the desire of y’all’s eyes, and the delight y’all’s soul. The sons and daughters y’all left behind will fall by the sword.


Lord, according to all your righteousness, please let your anger and your wrath be turned away from your city Jerusalem, your holy mountain; because for our sins and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and your people have become a reproach to all who are around us.


While I was speaking, praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before YHWH my God for the holy mountain of my God—


Her leaders judge for bribes, and her priests teach for a price, and her prophets of it tell fortunes for money; yet they lean on YHWH, and say, “Isn’t YHWH among us? No disaster will come on us.”


They assembled together against Moses and Aaron, and said to them, “Y’all done too much! The whole congregation is holy, everyone of them, and YHWH is among them! Why do y’all lift yourselves above YHWH’s assembly?”


Don’t think y’all can say to yourselves*, ‘We have Abraham for our father,’ for I tell y’all that God is able to raise up children for Abraham from these stones.


Indeed you call yourself a Jew, and rest on the law and boast in God,


even as it is written, “Look, I am setting a stumbling stone and a rock of offense in Zion, and no one who believes in him will be disappointed.”


For this is upheld in Scripture, “See, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, chosen and precious. The one who believes in him will never be put to shame.”
