1 A revelation of the word of YHWH concerning Israel: YHWH, who stretches out the heavens and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him says:

God called the expanse “sky.” There was evening and there was morning, a second day.


Then YHWH God formed a human from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the human became a living being.


Hᴇ stretches out the northern skies over empty space, and hangs the earth on nothing.


Can you, with ʜɪᴍ, spread out the sky, which is strong as a cast metal mirror?


He covers himself with light as with a garment. He stretches out the heavens like a curtain.


May YHWH bless you from Zion, Hᴇ who made heaven and earth.


and the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.


Who has measured the waters in the palm of ʜɪꜱ hand, or marked off the sky with spread of ʜɪꜱ fingers, or quantified the dust of the earth with a measuring basket, or weighed the mountains on a balance, or the hills on a pair of scales?


It is ʜᴇ who dwells above the circle of the earth, and those who dwell there are like grasshoppers. Hᴇ stretches the heavens out like a curtain, and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.


God YHWH, he who created the heavens and stretched them out, he who spread out the earth and that which comes out of it, he who gives breath to its people and spirit to those who walk in it, says:


YHWH, your Redeemer, and he who formed you from the womb says: “I am YHWH, who makes all things; who alone stretches out the heavens; who spreads out the earth by myself;


I have made the earth, and created humans on it. I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens. I have commanded all their army.


For YHWH who created the heavens, the God who formed the earth and made it, who established it and didn’t create it a waste, who formed it to be inhabited says: “I am YHWH. There is no other.


Yes, my hand has laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand has spread out the heavens. when I call to them, they stand up together.


Have you forgotten YHWH your Maker, who stretched out the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth? Do you live in fear continually all day because of the fury of the oppressor, when he prepares to destroy? Where is the fury of the oppressor?


For I will not contend forever, neither will I always be angry; for the spirit would faint before me, and the souls whom I have made.


God has made the earth by ʜɪꜱ power. Hᴇ has established the world by ʜɪꜱ wisdom, and by ʜɪꜱ understanding has ʜᴇ stretched out the heavens.


Therefore don’t be afraid, O Jacob my servant, says YHWH. Don’t be dismayed, Israel. For I will save you from afar, and save your offspring from the land of their captivity. Jacob will return, and will be quiet and at ease. No one will make him afraid.


Therefore all those who devour you will be devoured. All your adversaries, everyone of them, will go into captivity. Those who plunder you will be plunder. I will make all who prey on you become prey.


So Zedekiah the king swore secretly to Jeremiah, saying, “As YHWH lives, who made our life, I will not put you to death, neither will I give you into the hand of these men who seek your life.”


Their Redeemer is strong. YHWH Almighty is his name. He will plead-plead their cause, that he may give rest to the earth, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.


“Hᴇ made the earth by ʜɪꜱ power. Hᴇ established the world by ʜɪꜱ wisdom. By ʜɪꜱ understanding ʜᴇ has stretched out the heavens.


Your prophets have seen false and foolish visions for you. They have not uncovered your iniquity, to reverse your captivity, but have seen for you false revelations and causes of banishment.


Look, every soul is mine; the soul of the father is like the soul of the son, they belong to me. The soul who sins will die.


Egypt will be a desolation and Edom will be a desolate wilderness, for the violence done to the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.


I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed, for YHWH dwells in Zion.”


A revelation: The word of YHWH is against the land of Hadrach, and will rest upon Damascus— for the eye of humanity and of all the tribes of Israel is toward YHWH—

They fell on their faces, and said, “God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, if one man sins, will you be angry with the entire congregation?”


Furthermore, we had earthly fathers as instructors, and we respected them. Shouldn’t we submit even more to the Father of spirits and live?
