You have also given me the shield of your salvation. Your gentleness has made me great.


An evil speaker won’t be established in the earth. Evil will hunt the violent man to overthrow him.


A hot-tempered person must pay the penalty, for if you rescue them, you will need to do it again.


It is better to dwell in the corner of the housetop than to share a house with a contentious woman.

For I am afraid that when I come, I might not find y’all the way I want, and y’all might not find me as y’all want. Perhaps there will be infighting, jealousy, outbursts of anger, factions, slander, gossip, arrogance, and disorder,


But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,


Siblings, even if a human is caught in some fault, y’all who are spiritual must restore them in a spirit of gentleness, watching yourself so that y’all also aren’t tempted.


So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all people, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.


with all lowliness and gentleness, with patience, putting up with one another in love,


Y’all must put away all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, along with all malice.


Let y’all’s gentleness be known to all humans. The Lord is near.


Instead, we were gentle among y’all. As a nursing mother cherishes her own children,


Likewise, the women must be reverent, not slanderers, temperate, and faithful in all things.


not a drunkard, not violent, but gentle, peaceable, free from the desire for money.


But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, and without hypocrisy.


Y’all must not speak against one another, siblings. Anyone who speaks against a sibling and judges them, speaks against the law, and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge.


Therefore, putting away all wickedness, all deceit, hypocrisies, envies, and all slander,


For, “Whoever wants to love life and see good days, must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from speaking deceit.


Finally, all y’all should be one-minded and sympathetic, having the affection of siblings and being compassionate and humble.


They are shocked that y’all don’t rush into the same excess and extravagance, so they vilify y’all.


especially those who indulge in the corrupt desires of theflesh and despise authority. Daring and arrogant, they are not afraid to insult glorious beings,


But these people say evil about things they don’t understand, and the things they do understand—as irrational animals do—will destroy them.


Yet in the same way, these people by their dreaming defile the flesh, despise authority, and slander celestial beings.
