When Solomon was old, his wives turned away his heart after other gods; and his heart was not perfect with YHWH his God, as the heart of David his father was.


He walked in all the sins of his father, which he had done before him; and his heart was not perfect with YHWH his God, as the heart of David his father.


He did that which was right in YHWH’s eyes, but not with a perfect heart.


but I would strengthen y’all with my mouth. The solace of my lips would bring relief.


Y’all are to strengthen the weak hands, and steady weak knees.


His watchmen are blind. They are all without knowledge. They are all mute dogs. They can’t bark— dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber.


I will declare your righteousness; and as for your works, they will not benefit you.


“I will seek that which was lost, and will bring back that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick; but I will destroy the fat and the strong. I will feed them in justice.”’

“Therefore, y’all must watch carefully for y’all don’t know the day nor the hour.

The end of all things is near. Therefore y’all are to be self-controlled and sober-minded for prayer.


Y’all be sober-minded and alert. Y’all’s adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.


“Look, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who stays awake and keeps their clothes on, so that they don’t walk naked and have people see their shame.”


But I have this against you: you have forsaken your first love.


“And to the angel of the church in Sardis write: “Thus says the one who holds the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: “I know your works, that you have a name for being alive, but you are dead.


Remember therefore what you have received and heard. Keep it and repent. But if you won’t wake up, I will come like a thief, and you won’t know the hour I will come upon you.
