“Cyrus king of Persia says, ‘YHWH, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and has commanded me to build him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah.


When YHWH brought back those who returned to Zion, we were like those who dream.


Blessed is the one whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is covered.


But ʜᴇ, being merciful, forgave iniquity, and didn’t destroy them. Yes, many times ʜᴇ turned ʜɪꜱ anger away, and didn’t stir up all ʜɪꜱ wrath.


In those days and in that time,” says YHWH, “search will be made for the iniquity of Israel, but there will be none, also the sins of Judah, but they won’t be found, for I will pardon them whom I leave as a remnant.


Who is a God like you, who pardons iniquity, and passes over the disobedience of the remnant of his heritage? He doesn’t retain his anger forever, because he delights in lovingkindness.


Please pardon the iniquity of this people according to the greatness of your lovingkindness, and just as you have forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.”


Through him everyone who believes is justified from all the things that y’all could not be justified from through the law of Moses.


When y’all were dead in y’all’s transgressions and in the uncircumcision of y’all’s flesh, he made y’all alive together with him, having forgiven us all our transgressions,
