Therefore YHWH burned with anger against ʜɪꜱ people. Hᴇ abhorred ʜɪꜱ inheritance.


For YHWH has chosen Jacob for ʜɪᴍꜱᴇʟꜰ, Israel for ʜɪꜱ own possession.


Blessed is the nation whose God is YHWH, the people whom ʜᴇ has chosen for ʜɪꜱ own inheritance.


Why do y’all gaze with envy, rugged mountains, at the mountain where God chooses to reign? Yes, YHWH will dwell there forever.


You have redeemed your people with your arm, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.


Y’all sing praises to YHWH, who dwells in Zion, y’all declare among the people what ʜᴇ has done.


For the one who avenges blood remembers them. Hᴇ does not ignore the cry of the afflicted.


For YHWH won’t reject ʜɪꜱ people, neither will ʜᴇ forsake ʜɪꜱ inheritance.


“You, in your lovingkindness, have led the people that you have redeemed. You have guided them in your strength to your holy habitation.


Terror and dread falls on them. By the greatness of your arm they are as still as a stone, until your people pass over, YHWH, until the people you have purchased pass over.


Those ransomed by YHWH will return, and come with singing to Zion. Everlasting joy will be on their heads. They will obtain gladness and joy. Sorrow and sighing will flee away.


They will call them “The Holy People, YHWH’s Redeemed”. You will be called “Sought Out, A City Not Forsaken”.


Jerusalem, I have set watchmen on your walls. They will never be silent day nor night. There is no rest for y’all who remind YHWH.


Why, YHWH, do you make us wander from your ways, and harden our heart from your fear? Return for your servants’ sake, the tribes of your inheritance.
