YHWH God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, you are cursed beyond all cattle, and above every living thing of the field. You will go on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life.


Baalath, Tamar in the wilderness,


YHWH says to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool for your feet.”


Hᴇ will judge among the nations. Hᴇ will heap up dead bodies. Hᴇ will crush the ruler of the whole earth.


You will break them with a rod of iron. You will dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.”


All the rich of the earth will eat and worship. All those who go down to the dust will bow before ʜɪᴍ, even those who can’t preserve their soul.


Kings will be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers. They will bow down to you with their faces to the earth, and lick the dust of your feet. Then you will know that I am YHWH, and those who wait for me will not be disappointed.”


They will lick the dust like a serpent. Like crawling things of the earth, they will come trembling out of their dens. They will come with fear to YHWH our God, and will be afraid because of you.


But those enemies of mine who didn’t want me to be king over them—y’all bring them and kill them in front of me.’”
