David and all the house of Israel played before YHWH with all kinds of instruments made of cypress wood, with harps, with stringed instruments, with tambourines, with castanets, and with cymbals.


I will wash my hands in innocence, so I will go about your altar, YHWH,


Y’all give thanks to YHWH with the lyre. Y’all sing praises to ʜɪᴍ with the harp of ten strings.


My God, my soul is in despair within me. Therefore I remember you from the land of the Jordan, the heights of Hermon, from the hill Mizar.


Wake up, my glory! Wake up, lute and harp! I will wake up the dawn.


I will give thanks to you, Lord, among the peoples. I will sing praises to you among the nations.


So I have seen you in the sanctuary, watching your power and your glory.


Y’all raise a song and play the tambourine, the sweet sounding lyre with the harp.


I will rejoice-rejoice in YHWH! My soul will be joyful in my God, for ʜᴇ has clothed me with the garments of salvation. Hᴇ has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.


I will bring the third part into the fire, and will refine them like silver is refined, and will test them like gold is tested. They will call on my name, and I will hear them. I will say, ‘It is my people;’ and they will say, ‘YHWH is my God.’”
