4 One thing I ask from YHWH, this is what I desire: that I may dwell in the house of YHWH all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of YHWH, and to contemplate in ʜɪꜱ temple.

There was a famine in the days of David for three years, year after year; and David sought the face of YHWH. YHWH said, “It is for Saul, and for his bloody house, because he put the Gibeonites to death.”


Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of YHWH forever.


I will wash my hands in innocence, so I will go about your altar, YHWH,


YHWH, I love the habitation of your house, the place where your glory dwells.


When you said, “Y’all are to seek my face,” my heart said to you, “I will seek your face, YHWH.”


Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines out.


Blessed is the one whom you choose and bring near to live in your courts. We will be filled with the goodness of your house, your holy temple.


For a day in your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.


Blessed are those who dwell in your house. They are always praising you. Selah.


Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us. Establish the work of our hands for us. Yes, establish the work of our hands.


Y’all will seek me and find me, when y’all search for me with all your* heart.

He inquired of YHWH for him, gave him food, and gave him the sword of Goliath the Philistine.”


David inquired of YHWH, saying, “If I pursue after this troop, will I overtake them?” Hᴇ answered him, “Pursue, because you will overtake-overtake and will rescue-rescue.”
