Numbers 5:18 - Y'all Version Bible

18 After the priest has the woman stand before YHWH, he is let the hair of the woman’s head go loose, and put the meal offering of memorial in her hands, which is the meal offering of jealousy. The priest is to hold the water of bitterness that brings a curse in his hand.

I find more bitter than death the woman whose heart is snares and traps, whose hands are chains. Whoever pleases God must escape from her, but the sinner will be ensnared by her.

Beware that there is no man, woman, family, or tribe among y’all whose heart turns away today from YHWH our God, to go and serve the gods of those nations. And beware that there is no root among y’all that produces bitter poison.


Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.


Then Samuel said, “Y’all bring Agag the king of the Amalekites here to me!” Agag came to him cheerfully. Agag said, “Surely the bitterness of death has past.”
