David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against YHWH.” Nathan said to David, “YHWH also has put away your sin. You will not die.


The Gibeonites said to him, “We have no claim of silver or gold between us and Saul or his house, nor is it for us to put any man to death in Israel.” He said, “I will do for y’all whatever y’all say.”


Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, the God of my salvation. My tongue will sing aloud of your righteousness.


If a man schemes to deliberately kill his neighbor, you must take him from my altar to be executed.


I will judge you as women who break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will bring on you the blood of wrath and jealousy.


“‘Anyone strikes a human mortally must be executed-executed.


If anyone strikes someone with a stone capable of killing in hand, and the person died, he is a murderer. The murderer must be put to death-death.


“‘Whoever kills any person, the murderer must be put to death based on the testimony of witnesses. But no one is to be put to death on the testimony of one witness.


“‘Y’all must not accept a ransom for a person who has fled to a city of refuge, allowing them to come again to dwell in the land before the death of the priest.


‘Cursed is anyone who secretly kills their neighbor.’ All the people will say, ‘Amen.’
