“Anyone who strikes someone to death must be put to death-death,


“‘Anyone strikes a human mortally must be executed-executed.


“‘But if anyone strikes someone with an instrument of iron, and the person dies, he is a murderer. The murderer must be put to death-death.


“‘Moreover y’all must not accept a ransom for the life of a murderer who is guilty of death. He must be put to death-death.


But if they won’t listen, take one or two more with you, so that ‘by the testimony of two or three witnesses every matter may be established.’


“Does our law judge a man unless it first hears from him personally and knows what he does?”


This is the third time I am coming to y’all. “Every matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.”
