A fool shows their annoyance the same day, but one who overlooks an insult is prudent.


This is an evil in all that is done under the sun, that there is one event to all. Yes also, the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead.


The donkey said to Balaam, “Am I not your donkey, on which you have ridden all your life long until today? Did I have a habit-habit of doing this to you?” He said, “No.”


For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual sins, thefts, false testimony, and blasphemies.
