YHWH upholds the humble. Hᴇ brings the wicked down to the ground.


For YHWH takes pleasure in ʜɪꜱ people. Hᴇ crowns the humble with salvation.


Suddenly YHWH said to Moses, Aaron, and Miriam, “Y’all three come out to the Tent of Meeting!” So the three of them went out.


Take my yoke upon y’all and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and y’all will find rest for your* souls.


“Y’all tell the daughter of Zion, See, your King comes to you, humble, and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.”


Blessed are the gentle, for they will inherit the earth.


Now I Paul, myself, appeal to y’all by the meekness and gentleness of Christ—I who am meek when face to face with y’all, but bold toward y’all when away!


For I consider myself not at all inferior to those “super-apostles.”


I have become a fool—y’all forced me! For I should have been commended by y’all, since I am the least inferior to the “super-apostles,” even though I am nothing.


Instead, we were gentle among y’all. As a nursing mother cherishes her own children,


Who among y’all is wise and understanding? Let them show it by their excellent behavior and works done in the gentleness that comes from wisdom.


but from the humanity hidden in the heart, the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in God’s sight.
