Is anything too hard for YHWH? At the set time I will return to you, when the season comes around, and Sarah will have a son.”


His servant said, “What, should I set this before a hundred men?” But he said, “Give it to the people, that they may eat, because YHWH says, ‘They will eat, and will have some left over.’”


Then the captain on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, “If YHWH made windows in heaven, could this thing be?” Elisha said, “You will see it with your eyes, but will not eat of it.”


They turned again and tempted God, and provoked the Holy One of Israel.


YHWH said to Moses, “Now you will see what I will do to Pharaoh, for by a strong hand he will let them go, and because of a strong hand he will drive them out of his land.”


Why, when I came, was there no one? When I called, why was there no one to answer? Is my hand so short-short, that it cannot redeem? Or do I not have the power to deliver? Look, at my rebuke I dry up the sea. I make the rivers a wilderness. Their fish stink because there is no water, and die of thirst.


Indeed, YHWH’s hand is not so short that it can’t save; nor his ear so dull, that it can’t hear.


Why should you be like a dumbfounded person, like a warrior who can’t save? Yet you, YHWH, are in the middle of us, and we are called by your name. Don’t leave us.


“Ah Lord YHWH! You have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for you.


“Indeed, I am YHWH, the God of all creatures. Is there anything too hard for me?


For I am YHWH. I will speak, and the word that I speak will be accomplished. It will no longer be delayed. Indeed in y’all’s days, rebellious house, I will speak the word and will accomplish it,” says Lord YHWH.’”


“‘“I, YHWH, have spoken it. It will happen, and I will do it. I won’t go back. I won’t spare. I won’t repent. According to your ways and according to your doings, they will judge you,” says Lord YHWH.’”


When he came near to the den to Daniel, he cried with a troubled voice. The king spoke and said to Daniel, “Daniel, servant of the living God, is your God, whom you serve continually, able to deliver you from the lions?”


Should it be said, O house of Jacob, “Is the Spirit of YHWH angry? Are these his doings? Don’t my words do good to him who walks blamelessly?”


If flocks and herds be slaughtered for them, would they have enough? If all the fish of the sea were caught for them, would it be sufficient for them?”


God is not a human, that he should lie, nor a son of a human, that he should repent. Has he said, and he won’t do it? Or has he spoken, and he won’t make it good?


Looking at them, Jesus said, “With humans this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”


Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.


For no word from God will ever fail to happen.
