Is there any thing hard to God? According to appointment, I will return to thee at this same time, life accompanying; and Sara shall have a son.


And his servant answered him: How much is this, that I should set it before a hundred men? He said again: Give to the people, that they may eat. For thus saith the Lord: They shall eat, and there shall be left.


Then one of the lords, upon whose hand the king leaned, answering the man of God, said: If the Lord should make flood-gates in heaven, can that possibly be which thou sayest? And he said: Thou shalt see it with thy eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.


And the Lord said to Moses: Now thou shalt see what I will do to Pharao. For by a mighty hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he cast them out of his land.


Because I came, and there was not a man: I called, and there was none that would hear. Is my hand shortened and become little, that I cannot redeem? Or is there no strength in me to deliver? Behold, at my rebuke I will make the sea a desert, I will turn the rivers into dry land: the fishes shall rot for want of water and shall die for thirst.


BEHOLD, the hand of the Lord is not shortened that it cannot save: neither is his ear heavy that it cannot hear.


Why wilt thou be as a wandering man, as a mighty man that cannot save? But thou, O Lord, art among us, and thy name is called upon by us: forsake us not.


Alas, alas, alas, O Lord God, behold, thou hast made heaven and earth by thy great power and thy stretched-out arm: no word shall be hard to thee.


Behold, I am the Lord the God of all flesh: Shall any thing be hard for me?


For I the Lord will speak: and what word soever I shall speak, it shall come to pass, and shall not be prolonged any more: but in your days, ye provoking house, I will speak the word, and will do it, saith the Lord God.


I, the Lord have spoken. It shall come to pass, and I will do it: I will not pass by, nor spare, nor be pacified. I will judge thee according to thy ways and according to thy doings, saith the Lord.


The house of Jacob saith: Is the spirit of the Lord straitened, or are these his thoughts? Are not my words good to him that walketh uprightly?


Shall then a multitude of sheep and oxen be killed, that it may suffice for their food? Or shall the fishes of the sea be gathered together to fill them?


God is not a man, that he should lie: nor as the son of man, that he should be changed. Hath he said then, and will he not do? Hath he spoken, and will he not fulfil?


And Jesus beholding, said to them: With men this is impossible: but with God all things are possible.


Heaven and earth shall pass, but my words shall not pass.


Because no word shall be impossible with God.
