He said, “Why would you want go to him today? It is not a new moon or a Sabbath.” She said, “It’s all right.”


Shebaniah, Joshaphat, Nethanel, Amasai, Zechariah, Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, blew the trumpets before the ark of God; and Obed-Edom and Jehiah were doorkeepers for the ark.


Thus all Israel brought the ark of YHWH’s covenant up with shouting, with sound of the cornet, with trumpets, and with cymbals, sounding aloud with stringed instruments and harps.


and with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should sound aloud, and with instruments for the songs of God, and the sons of Jeduthun to be at the gate.


The Levites stood with David’s instruments, and the priests with the trumpets.


All the assembly worshiped, the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded. All this continued until the burnt offering was finished.


The priests stood, according to their positions; the Levites also with instruments of music of YHWH, which David the king had made to give thanks to YHWH, when David praised by their ministry, saying “For his lovingkindness endures forever.” The priests sounded trumpets before them; and all Israel stood.

On that day that a great trumpet will be blown, and those who were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and those who were outcasts in the land of Egypt, will come. They will worship YHWH in the holy mountain at Jerusalem.


“You are to speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, there is be a solemn rest for y’all, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy assembly.


When y’all go to war in y’all’s land against an adversary who attacks y’all, then y’all are to sound an alarm with the trumpets. Then y’all will be remembered before YHWH y’all’s God, and y’all will be saved from y’all’s enemies.


“‘At the beginning of every month, y’all are to present a burnt offering to YHWH: two young bulls, one ram, seven male lambs a year old without defect,


“‘On the first day of the seventh month, the month, y’all are to have a holy convocation; and y’all must not do any regular work. It is a day of blowing of trumpets for y’all.


“Y’all come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give y’all rest.


Staring at him in fear, he said, “What is it, Lord?” The angel told him, “Your prayers and your charitable deeds have gone up for a memorial offering before God.


in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.


For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.


Therefore y’all comfort one another with these words.


then y’all are to tell them, ‘Because the waters of the Jordan were cut off ahead of the ark of YHWH’s covenant. When it crossed over the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off.’ These stones are to be a memorial to the children of Israel forever.”


Seven priests are to bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark. On the seventh day, y’all are to march around the city seven times, while the priests blow the trumpets.


The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” Let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come. Let the one who desires take the water of life freely.


David said to Jonathan, “Look, tomorrow is the new moon, and I must sit-sit to dine with the king; but let me go, that I may hide myself in the field to the third day at evening.
