In that day you will say, “I will give thanks to you, YHWH, for though you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you comfort me.


He has swallowed up death forever! Lord YHWH will wipe away tears from off all faces. He will take the reproach of his people away from off all the earth, for YHWH has spoken it.


For the people will dwell in Zion at Jerusalem. You will weep no more. Hᴇ will be gracious-gracious when you cry out. When ʜᴇ hears you, ʜᴇ will answer you.


Then YHWH’s ransomed ones will return, and come with singing to Zion; and everlasting joy will be on their heads. They will obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.”


I have seen his ways, and will heal him. I will lead him also, and restore comforts to him and to his mourners.


“Rejoice with Jerusalem, and be glad for her, all y’all who love her. Rejoice for joy with her, all y’all who mourn over her;


For my hand has made all these things, and so all these things came to be,” says YHWH: “but I will look to this person, to the one who is poor and of a contrite spirit, and who trembles at my word.


But of those who escape, they will escape and will be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them moaning, everyone in his iniquity.


YHWH said to him, “Go through the middle of the city, through the middle of Jerusalem, and set a mark on the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry over all the abominations that are done within it.”


I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the spirit of grace and of supplication. They will look to me whom they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for his only son, and will grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for his firstborn.


“But Abraham said, ‘Child, remember that in your lifetime, you received your good things, just as Lazarus received bad things. But now he is comforted here and you are in agony.


Blessed are those who hunger now, for y’all will be satisfied. Blessed are those who weep now, for y’all will laugh.


Woe to y’all who are well-fed now, for y’all will be hungry. Woe to y’all who laugh now, for y’all will mourn and weep.


and stood behind him at his feet weeping. She began to wet his feet with her tears, and she wiped them with her hair, kissed his feet, and anointed them with the perfume.


He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.”


Blessed is the one who endures testing, because after being approved, that person will receive the crown of life which the Lord promised to those who love ʜɪᴍ.


Hᴇ will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will no longer exist. Mourning, crying, and pain will no longer exist. The first things have passed away.”
