It will be a unique day which is known only to YHWH—not day, and not night, but it will come to pass that at evening time there will be light.

Therefore, y’all must stay alert, for y’all don’t know on what day your* Lord is coming.

Therefore y’all must also be ready, because the Son of Humanity is coming at an hour when y’all don’t expect him.

“Therefore, y’all must watch carefully for y’all don’t know the day nor the hour.

“But of that day or that hour no one knows—not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

He said to them, “It isn’t for y’all to know the times or periods the Father has set by his own authority.

For y’all know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will be destroyed in a blaze of fire, and the earth and its deeds will be burned up.

“Look, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who stays awake and keeps their clothes on, so that they don’t walk naked and have people see their shame.”

Remember therefore what you have received and heard. Keep it and repent. But if you won’t wake up, I will come like a thief, and you won’t know the hour I will come upon you.
