Blind fools! For which is greater, the gold or the temple that sanctifies the gold?


Blind again! For which is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifies the gift?


Blind guides! Y’all strain out a gnat, but swallow a camel!


Blind Pharisee! First you must clean the inside of the cup and the dish, so that its outside may become clean also.


Yes, I testify again to every man who receives circumcision that he is a debtor to keep the whole law.


But above all things, my siblings, y’all must not swear—not by heaven or by the earth or by any other oath. Instead let y’all’s “yes” mean “yes,” and y’all’s “no” mean “no,” so that y’all won’t fall into judgment.
