Bathsheba therefore went to King Solomon, to speak to him for Adonijah. The king rose up to meet her and bowed himself to her, and sat down on his throne and caused a throne to be set for the king’s mother. Then she sat at his right hand.


In Gibeon, YHWH appeared to Solomon in a dream by night; and God said, “Ask for what I should give you.”


Then the king asked her, “What would you like, queen Esther? What is your request? It will be given you even to the half of the kingdom.”


YHWH says to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool for your feet.”


Kings’ daughters are among your honorable women. At your right hand the queen stands in gold of Ophir.


Do you seek great things for yourself? Don’t seek them. For, I am about to bring disaster on all flesh,’ says YHWH, ‘but I will let you escape with your life wherever you go.’”


At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who then is greatest in the Empire of Heaven?”


Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell y’all that, in the regeneration of all things when the Son of Humanity sits on his glorious throne, y’all who have followed me will sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.


But Jesus answered, “Y’all don’t know what you are asking. Are y’all able to drink the cup that I am about to drink?” They said to him, “We are able.”


Jesus stopped and called them, and asked, “What do y’all want me to do for you*?”


Jesus asked him, “What do you want me to do for you?” The blind man said to him, “Rabbi, I want to see again.”


So then, after the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.


When the daughter of Herodias came in and danced, she pleased Herod and those sitting with him. The king said to the girl, “Ask me whatever you desire, and I will give it to you.”


“What do you want me to do for you?” He said, “Lord, I want to see again.”


While the people were listening to these things, Jesus proceeded to tell a parable, because he was near Jerusalem, and they thought the Empire of God would be revealed immediately.


A dispute also arose among them as to which of them was to be considered the greatest.


If y’all remain in me, and my words remain in y’all, ask whatever y’all want, and it will be done for y’all.


So when they had gathered together, they asked him, “Lord, is this the time when you are going to restore the empire to Israel?”


Be devoted to one another with mutual love and honor one another above yourselves,


Who then is the one who condemns? It is Christ who died, and more than that, who was raised from the dead, is at the right hand of God, and intercedes for us.


Therefore, since y’all have been raised together with Christ, y’all should seek the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
