For today in the city of David, a Savior has been born to y’all. He is Christ the Lord.


When the angels left them and went back to heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened and that the Lord has made known to us.”


Doesn’t the Scripture say that the Christ comes from the offspring of David, and from Bethlehem, the village where David lived?”


There was a young man out of Bethlehem Judah, of the family of Judah, who was a Levite, and he lived there.
